Weekly Links Roundup – The Time Lapse Edition

I have been a big fan of time lapse videos ever since I made my first one. Once I realized I could make those cool stop-motion videos with just my still camera and a shutter release I fell in love with them. The tutorial I learned from is still online and I even met the creator of the tutorial (Zach Wise) at a conference a while back I won’t bore you my attempts at time lapses but here are some sweet examples for you in our weekly links roundup.

+ The director of Up In The Air, Jason Reitman, catalogued his insane press tour with his iPhone. The results are an interesting look back at the people who turned the camera on him. [Press Tour]

+ The uber-talented Lucas Oleniuk of the Toronto Star put together this advocacy masterpeice on climate change for Earth Hour. [Airsick: Industrial Devolution]

+ No list of great time lapses would be complete without this peice by Dove on artificial beauty. What it has to do with soap I’ll never know, but it is an amazing reveal of the beauty industry. [Artificial Beauty]

+ And lastly where would this list be without a cuty baby. French-Canadian photographer Francis Vachon condensed four hours of play into just over two minutes and set it to a charming french pop song. [Rolling Baby]
