“It’s an honour to win a National Magazine Award and to represent Alberta on a national stage,” says Joyce Byrne, associate publisher of Unlimited.

Heading into its first anniversary, Unlimited has already earned critical buzz as Canada’s next generation business magazine. Targeted to the 20-35 year-old crowd, it seems fitting that the magazine has won a national award for its visual layout and design.

“When we decided to launch a career/lifestyle magazine for ambitious and educated young Canadians, we knew the look of the magazine was going to be very important,” says Byrne. “We needed an art director who could reflect the excitement and relevance of the editorial content through the visual components of the magazine. From the very first issue, Malcolm’s one-of-a-kind talent made Unlimited jump off the newsstand. We’re very proud to see him receive such esteemed recognition from his peers on a national level.”
